I had run a perfect barrel pattern in 17.3 seconds!! I soared beyond excitement as I realized that I had finally broken my record.

Barrel racing has been a passion of mine for two years and I hope to make a career out of it.

Champion barrel racer Brittany Pozzi-Pharr became my role model when I read an interview with her in Young Rider magazine. In her interview, she encourages riders to never give up and to always keep an open mind. I have taken those words to heart and tried to be the best rider within my abilities.
